1 Mile

Wednesday 3rd July 2024

The first Wednesday in July heralded the 3rd race at our HH track series🏃🏽🏃🏼

Runners were placed into 2 races for the 1 mile event, this allowed more running room on the track and an easier job for our wonderful lap counters and timekeepers 🤩

We keep promising summer weather however runners were once again greeted by that hefty headwind on the back straight 🌀 Not to be deterred, we still witnessed some amazing performances!!! 👏👏

However, the main event was the presence of our wonderful junior Hailsham Harrier Daisy 🌼.  Following her recent accident and surgery we were so pleased to welcome Daisy back to club & she started the race with her usual beaming smile and lovely energy- thank you Daisy- a privilege to have you join us 🙏😍🤗
