🌊🏃‍♂️ Bill Fraser Shines at the Rye Summer 5K 🖤❤️

Our club legend Bill Fraser ✉️ was back in action at the opening race of the popular Rye Summer 5K Series, producing another superb performance in the black and red.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve 🌱, the fast and scenic coastal course 🌊 provided the perfect setting for a brilliant summer evening of racing.

Part of a three-race series, the event always attracts a strong local field and a fantastic atmosphere with 300 runners across the 5K, 10K and 1K junior race.

Bill once again showed his class and consistency, running a fantastic time of 30:19 to secure an impressive second place in his age category 👏🥈

A huge congratulations to Bill on another brilliant run and for representing Hailsham Harriers so proudly.

The next race in the Rye Summer Series takes place on Friday 5th June, with plenty more opportunities to enjoy this popular coastal event. 🖤❤️
