The Milland Road Race has been a huge part of our Harriers history for many, many years.

It was originally set up to mark the transition from Winter training into Summer, to see the remarkable results of everyone’s road based training through the months of September to April.  It also pays homage to the clubs London Marathon runners, hence why the date always falls in late April and why the distance is 2.6 miles.

Due to the pandemic we went virtual with the race in 2021 with each member completing and posting their runs on strava, via email and through alternate social media channels.  Our Chairman, coaches and committee members felt strongly that the race should return this year, and what a mighty fine turnout we had.

We were blessed with the presence and participation of an upcoming superstar, Josh Webster.  Mum Flick and Dad, Shaun have been Harriers for many years and there is no doubt that Josh has inherited their running genes.

osh flew around the course to take the win 🏆 in 13:00 🤩 with Captain Bartz first Harrier 🖤❤️ home in 13:13 and Tinks 🧚🏻‍♂️ first over the line for the ladies in 14:50.
