The HH came out in force to participate in the defib run ❤️ This consisted of 4 teams led by Adam, Graham, Michelle and Annette visiting all the accessible defibs located on our regular running territory around the town- see snaps below for the evidence 😊

It feels essential that we are all aware of the location of the defibs, as we all know only too well, there are times when these vital pieces of equipment are required and they do genuinely save lives ❤️‍🩹 Hopefully we have now raised the profile amongst our members and beyond- please do share with friends and family 🙏

If you do encounter an emergency situation you can access the BHF website to identify locations of the defibrillators https://www.defibfinder.uk/. You will then need to call 999 to gain a code to access the equipment. From here the instructions are really simple to follow. These ensure access to life saving treatment is accessible to all ❤️

Unfortunately, during the defib run we did encounter an emergency situation, thank you to Michelle Hollands and Karen Hoskin for their actions in calling the fire brigade 🚒  Although there was some damage to Hailsham United’s ⚽️ facilities and equipment we were mighty relieved that no one was hurt.
