Sunday 3rd September – 10am

258 runners took part in the BBB 10K hosted by events team Nice Work on behalf of Battel Bonfire Boyes.  The race, now in it’s fifteenth year, starts at the iconic Battle Abbey 🏰 and is an undulating, challenging 10K that takes place on roads near Catsfield and Battle.  

Along with plenty of uphill sections the downhills do not disappoint, with a fantastic finish to the sound of cheering crowds who lined the high street by the Abbey and a bespoke medal presented to all runners by the lovely Mayoress 👸🏼 

Three Harriers took part in the race on Sunday with David Woollard 🏎️ flying our Harriers colours 🖤❤️to cross the line in an impressive 37:54, placing 5th overall and sadly just missing out on that V40 win 🏆 (a tough category).  Leeland 🚴‍♀️, who ran the Rye 5K on Friday evening, crossed the line in 48:55 with Harriers legend, Bill Fraser ✉️ finishing in 54:01 👏🏻 

Those are superb performances on a tough course in warm conditions👏🏻 🤩 🔥 Congratulations Team🎉
