The East Grinstead 10K is largely a community event organised ‘for runners by runners’ with all proceeds going to charity.  The race is organised and supported by volunteers from East Grinstead Runners, surrounding clubs, amazing charities and the East Grinstead Lions 🦁 🦁 🦁

The race is dedicated to the memory of Andy Ripley OBE: English Rugby 🏉 Union International, an active East Grinstead sportsman and former member of East Grinstead AC who sadly passed away from prostate cancer in 2010.

The course is largely flat and multi-terrain with much of the route taking runners along the Worth Way (a disused railway line 🚂 ) which runs from Three Bridges to East Grinstead.  The first 7Km is off-road on well surfaced bridleways with the final 3Km on residential roads.  The race ends with a fast 200m downhill sprint.

Representing team black and red 🖤❤️saw our new Men’s Vice Captain: Andrew Moore, complete this wonderful local race. Andrew crossed the line in a mighty 48:23 🙌

348 runners completed the event with a whopping £4500 raised for the events three charities 🤩
