258 runners took part in the BBB 10K hosted by events team Nice Work on behalf of Battel Bonfire Boyes.  The race, now in it’s thirteenth year, starts at the iconic Battle Abbey and is an undulating, challenging 10K that takes place on roads near Catsfield and Battle.  

Along with plenty of uphill sections the downhills do not disappoint, with a fantastic finish to the sound of cheering crowds who lined the high street by the Abbey and a bespoke medal presented to all runners by the lovely Mayoress. 

Six Harriers took part on Sunday with Barts first Harrier home and securing himself a shiny new personal best in 40:45.  Second Harrier home and also racing to finish second lady overall saw the awesome Leeks in 42:30 with Tinks taking third lady in 44:27.   Fluffy ran a superb race to cross the line in 50:33, with Chris Little, cheered on by mum Linda, finishing in 51:52 and Sam Nemo sprinting to a great finish in 55:41
