Organised by local running events team Eastbourne Runs, The Eastbourne 10K is a friendly, flat 10k along the beautiful seafront promenade 🌊

Starting 100 metres west of the bandstand on the middle prom, the route heads west along the lower promenade, passing the Wish Tower towards Holywell tea chalet. It then returns east on the lower prom, through the Band Stand, past the Pier, along Fisherman’s Green until Sovereign park where the turn around point is. It then retraces the same route west, along the promenade, back to the finish point 100 metres west of the Bandstand.

Within the sold out race four Harriers took part with another four volunteering as pacers from sub 50-70 minutes.

With tropical temperatures on the morning, our first Harrier home saw Graham Pundye 😂 cross the line in 47:47 followed by Leeland 🚴🏽‍♂️ 48:40, Shaun 🐘 53:58 and Geoff 🪵 1:04:59

Big shout out to all the volunteers, marshals and our Harriers pacers; Chris Little 🔥 sub 50, tina ⚽️ sub 55, tracy 🐶 sub 65 and Tash 🍹 sub 70 minutes.

Huge congratulations to everyone that ran, all the trophy winners and especially to Arnold Weston of Bath AC who finished first overall in a time of 35:15 and to Ruby Whyte-Wilding 37:36 of Lewes AC 🏆 first female.

Donations from the entry price were made to local Eastbourne charity, The JPK Project.  A charity dedicated to helping people with learning disabilities and their families.  Eastbourne Runs raised a grand total of £2045 🤩

Next years Eastbourne 10K is set for Sunday 21st June 2026.  Their next event is the Eastbourne 5K, an inaugural event, which will be held on Sunday 14th September, starting and finishing at the Holywell Tea Chalet.
