Race 4/6 – Newplace Park

Sunday 18th December – 10:30am

After a week of ice 🧊, snow ❄️ and snowmen ⛄️ with temperatures not reaching much above -1°, the turnout at Newplace Park was outstanding.

It was a mixture of everything for the brave runners on the two lap, undulating course in Framfield near Blackboys.  On offer mud, snow, ice and frozen rain greeted runners for the final fixture of 2022 🎉 

Hosted by the wonderful Uckfield runners 💛 🖤 354 runners took part in Sunday’s event including eighteen Harriers 🤩.  First home for the black and red’s saw Rob cross the line in 34:20 (42nd) followed by Carl 👨🏻‍✈️ 35:03 (49th), Adam 35:25 (59th), Los 🦃 35:34 (62nd), Graham Woolley 🧶 35:49 (68th), Tom Bilton 36:34 (73rd), Dan 🚢  38:10 (102nd), Tinks 🧚🏻‍♂️38:55 (118th), Jenny 39:38 (129th), Chris🔥 40:15 (144th), Leeland 🚴‍♀️ 44:34 (211th), Matt 🎅🏻 44:36 (212th), Hannah 🏕️ 44:55 (214th), Victoria 47:11 (243rd), Sam 🐠 47:30 (247th), Julie 🐓 48:58 (263rd), Felicity 💐 50:26 (278th) and Ros 👩🏼‍⚕️ 57:12 (355th).

The next fixture takes place on January 15th 2023 at Warren Hill, Eastbourne.
