🎂 Heathfield Midsummers 10K♥️

Hailsham Harriers were out in full force at this year’s Heathfield Midsummer 10K, race number 6 of 12 in the Sussex Grand Prix league.
This challenging 10K follows a scenic, rural, undulating route around the quiet country lanes of Cross In Hand and Waldron in East Sussex.
225 runners braved the warm temperatures 🔥 and the challenging hills with a black and red record turnout of 34 members.
First Harrier home saw Chris Doherty 👁️ take second place overall 🥈 🏆 in a time of 36:57 with Aislinn 🐾 storming over the line in 41:06, placing first female 🥇 👑 🏆, whilst Alice 🐈 secured second place female 🥈🏆overall in a time of 42:51.
We saw great performances from all our runners at the event with many achieving new course personal bests 💪🏼 and scooping up various age category and team awards.
Graham Pundye 😂 Aislinn 🐾 , Audrey 💙 💜, Maria Smith 🙌 , Ros Daintree 🌺 and Lady Delves 😎 placed first 🥇 in their respective age categories with the top Ladies Team prize going to Hailsham 🖤♥️ Congrats to Aislinn 🐾 , Alice 🐈⬛ , Audrey 💙💜, and Maria Smith 🙌.
