A beautiful report from our lovely Sarah Day 🌹

43:51! So proud of my time, I probably should retire on that!  Managed to smash my 10km PB by about 5mins, likely to never ever say those words again! 🤣

✨Run Report✨-

A lovely novelty closed road race in central London (Trafalgar Square), 19804 runners, many raising money for Cancer Research.

Well organised race, seamless bag drop, communication and starting waves.  The only thing un-seamless about it was me rushing to the station with 1 minute to spare in the morning!, will I ever change ?!🤷‍♀️  🤦‍♀️

Fake snow machine at Trafalgar Square, husky high fives en-route!, dancing penguins, a Coldplay tribute band, saw some sights, and a right vibe in the big city !  🙌

All the ‘Days’ got PBs – cracking Christmas present 🎁-  and thanks to Gio for pacing my sister (team!), followed by her choice of ‘elite – gluten filled’ bakery! 😌… I had a coffee 🤣

🎤 Absolutely amazing Sarah.  Congratulations 🙌 We’re pretty sure this will be the first PB of many in 2025z. Keep up the great work 🖤❤️

Hugest congratulations to Jo Davis too who ran with friends Amelia and Helen for their first official run ⭐ Looks like a great day in London was had by all 🙌🥰❄️

Here’s what Jo had to say ‘Lovely weekend up in London for the Winter Run – I did the first one in 2015 and it was good to be back 10 years later (and way, way more capable of completing the distance this time – the less said about 2015 the better…) – always a fun event if a little congested at times. Helen and Amelia’s first event and they both smashed it – Amelia with a new PB – running with her Aunty last November obviously helped 🤣!! Lovely to do an event with Laura and Tom again too – roll on Seaford 10k in May 🙂🙂 Happy Runday everyone’ 🙂🙂
