Hosted by Phoenix running events Michelle Hollands headed to Denbies wine estate on the Summer Bank Holiday weekend to take part in The Prosecco Run 🍾 

For Phoenix running this heralded a new event for the fantastic events team based around one of their members completing their 100th Marathon who has a love for Prosecco 🍾 

As with all their fabulous, well organised events, this is a multi-distance event where each runner can chose to run 5k, 10K, Half marathon, marathon, as many or as few of the 5.3km laps as they wish within a 7 hour time limit.  Whatever the distance (minimum of one lap) everyone gets to share in the Prosecco 🍾and everyone receives the same bespoke medal and the same glory 🙌

The Denbies wine estate is a stunning venue to run through and even more so when the pitstops are stocked with bubbles 🍾

For Michelle her GCSE Maths celebrations continue as she completed a huge distance of 16.47 miles.
