Race 2/6 – Snape Woods 🪵 

Sunday 27th November

After the torrential downpours the night before and leading up to the race, the cross country conditions at Snape Woods, Wadhurst, presented authentic cross country at its finest.  With plenty of mud, puddles, uphills and downhills, a whopping 379 runners embraced the challenging two lap course on a soggy but mild November morning. 

Team black and red put on a show of brave, super strong performances 💪🏼 as they battled twenty local clubs to score points in what looks to be an exciting league this year.

Eighteen Hailsham Harriers took part with Captain Barts first Harrier home in 38th position (35:39) followed by Graham Woolley 🧶 44th (36:01), Matt Southam 76th (38:15), A bare chested 😊Los Jellybaby 👶🏼 100th (39:50), Bilts 104th (40:16), Dan Shipo 🛳️  122nd (40:46), Tinks 🧚🏻131st (41:20), Popey 133rd (41:35), Ruffs 144th (42:50), Chris Little 150th (43:01), Graham Pundye (199th) 46:16, Cross Country Hannah ⛺️ 228th (48:20), Nemo 232nd (48:51), Doug Wood 🪵 237th (49:21), Victoria Little 👮🏻‍♀️ 262nd (50:57), Felicity Williams 💐 277th (52:16), Michelle Hollands 👑 299th (54:22) and Dean-o 324th (56:48).

Even though conditions were a bit soggy, it was certainly a great, fun morning with a fabulous team turnout.  Well done to everyone that ran, you’re all truly amazing 💪🏼
