A midweek blast along the Sussex seafront was on the menu as the Black & Red headed to Bexhill for Race two of the GBR Run Bexhill 5K Series.

Starting beside the iconic De La Warr Pavilion, the accurately measured course is about as flat as they come – a fast out-and-back dash along Bexhill Promenade with nowhere to hide! 😅

Well done to our fantastic trio with Darren and Bill running faster than race 1 and Sarah recording a new 5K PB 🎉

A distance that may be short…but certainly isn’t easy! So huge congratulations team.

The Bexhill series has become a brilliant addition to the local summer racing calendar – fast, friendly and right on our doorstep.  And, being a seaside race, there’s always the important matter of whether the post-race recovery should involve chips or ice cream🍦🍟
