🧡 Endurance Life Sussex Marathon 🌊
Saturday 7th March 2026
A stunning day on the Sussex coast saw runners take on the brutal beauty of the Endurance Life Sussex Marathon, a true test of strength and trail running spirit.
Starting from Helen Gardens in Eastbourne, the route quickly began with relentless climbs, rolling chalky trails and those iconic white cliffs stretching out along the Seven Sisters.
With over 4,000ft of elevation packed into 26.2 miles, this was no ordinary marathon, it’s a proper leg-burner from start to finish🏁
The course weaved along the dramatic coastline between Eastbourne and Seaford, delivering breath-taking views over the English Channel 🌊
Conditions were kind but the steep climbs, fast descents and uneven ground kept runners focused all the way round, a race where pacing, fuelling ⛽️ and sheer determination were key.
Congratulations to our amazing Tom Price 🎨 who finished in an impressive 5:21:39 🙌 Tom showed incredible resilience, digging deep on the climbs whilst flying down the descents. A day of huge effort and BIG achievements.
Tom was supported by Bilts 🚒, who gave up his day to marshal. We all know what a huge boost a friendly face can do – amazing stuff Bilts 🙌
Tom 🎨 is currently in training for ‘The Lap’ Ultra on 9th May, a 75km ultramarathon with 2500m of ascent, completing one full lap of Lake Windermere in The Lake District.
He will be raising money for a local, Sussex based charity called Muma Nurture who support with fertility issues, baby loss and peri-natal mental health.
