On the hottest weekend of the year three hardy Harriers headed to the stunning Bewl Water to take part in the Bewl Water, Hermes Ultra and Marathon 🤩 

Home to what we all know as the Bewl 15 (Fluffy’s 🐌 favourite event 😂 ) both courses followed the same reservoir route, running on a combination of wooded trail and quiet country lanes with stunning views of the lake. 

Our tough cookie Nadine 🌷 chose the 50K ultra (2 and 1/2 loops of the reservoir😱) Despite the hot conditions 🥵, tough terrain and challenging route she managed to finish with a 50K Ultra personal best in 5:43:41 ☺️whilst placing an impressive fifth female over the line🙌

Over in the marathon distance, Team Morris were at it again, this time our fabulous superhero Jayne 🦸🏻‍♀️ , who usually looks after and supports everyone else, took part in her first EVER marathon (2 loops of the reservoir plus a bit).  Not one for choosing an easy option, Jayne 🦸🏻‍♀️ blasted around the course with hubby Kev 💪🏼 to finish, all smiles in a PB of 6:51:03 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

We honestly do not know how you all ran those distances in that heat! Hats off to you Nadine🌷, Jayne🦸🏻‍♀️ and Kevin💪🏼 – we are super impressed, those are three truly outstanding performances 🖤♥️
