447 runners took part in the BBB 10K hosted by events team Nice Work 💚 on behalf of Battel Bonfire Boyes 🔥 The race, now in it’s fourteenth year, starts at the iconic Battle Abbey 🏰 and is an undulating, challenging 10K that takes place on roads near Catsfield and Battle.

Along with plenty of uphill sections the downhills do not disappoint, with a fantastic finish to the sound of cheering crowds who lined the high street by the Abbey 🏰 and a bespoke medal presented to all runners by the lovely Mayoress 👸🏼

Five Harriers took to the challenging course this year on a warm September morning.  Audrey Haddon 🌷 charged up the hills and stormed to a flying finish in a sensational 47:32 with Kevin 💪🏼 running an incredible 1:01:17, Cathy 🥿 an impressive 1:01:58, Jayne who shaved off a whopping 5 minutes from last years time to finish with a course PB of 1:04:00 🌟 and Kirstie 🏊🏼‍♂️ zooming to a 1:04:56 finish 😘

These are amazing performances team on a tough route on a muggy, hot morning 🖤❤️ Well done to you all 🙌🙌 Be proud of yourselves as we are of you 🥰
