This year we were once again privileged to take part in the Track and Field League organised by Sussex Athletics.

Four events made up the league which took part in May, June, July and finishing on August 2nd, with two held at Lewes Athletics track and two at Eastbourne Sports Park.

Our thanks go to Brighton and Hove AC ❤️ 🖤, Lewes AC ❤️💛and Eastbourne Rovers AC 🤍💙 who individually hosted each fixture, making them all enjoyable evenings with superb organisation 👏🏻

For us as a club we were proud to field a strong team each month, with many going above and beyond to score points, attempting disciplines they had only ever done at high school, pushing past comfort zones, breaking club records, helping out whilst encouraging and supporting fellow team mates, to name a few 😍 Most importantly of all we had great fun taking part, with plenty of memorable moments to cherish.

We are delighted with the overall result which saw Hailsham Harriers finish 4th overall for the Men and 3rd place 🥉 for the ladies 🖤❤️

A BIG, BIG thank you to Julie Deakin who helped organise our athletes before, during and after each fixture whilst taking part herself 🙌 and hugest thanks to all who took part, gave up their Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, shared their knowledge and helped out in many roles at each fixture.

All the results from each event have been uploaded to the Power of 10 website and we are already looking forward to 2025 🖤❤️
