The Rye Summer Classic Series, organised by the Nice Work events team, is a popular series of three Friday evening events featuring two 10K races and a season- ending final 5K 🏁

108 runners gathered at the stunning Rye Harbour Nature reserve 🍃 on the evening of Friday 6th September to take part in the race finalè, the 5K.

Representing Hailsham Harriers saw Arthur Collins tackle the tough, out and back 5K course set in one of Britain’s important conservation sites with views out to sea and the neighbouring town of Camber Sands 🐚

Arthur finished in a magnificent time of 27:12👏🏻 after battling some pretty tough weather conditions along the way..
