Sunday was the penultimate race in the Sussex Grand Prix series, Hove 10K. This is a flat 2 lap course along the seafront which attracts lots of local fast runners. 377 runners took part in the event. It was an unseasonably hot day as we competed in the sunshine.
For the Hailsham Harriers we had just 10 runners this time. First home was Simon Haddon in a time of 43.00, he was followed by Tina MacEnhill in a time of 46.31. 3rd was Helen O’Sullivan in a time of 46.31.
There were some fantastic personal achievements within this race and every runner should be very proud of themselves. Well done to all of you.
